1. Booking Confirmation
Bookings will be confirmed only after full payment is received. Once the payment is processed, a confirmation voucher will be sent to the customer. Passengers must arrive at the time stated on the confirmation voucher, with a minimum of 45 minutes prior to the scheduled flight.
2. Passenger Identification
All passengers are required to present a valid government-issued ID or official identification card at check-in.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- Over 48 hours in advance No cancellation charges.
- Less than 48 hours in advance A charge of 50% of the total booking cost.
- Less than 24 hours in advance A charge of 100% of the total booking cost.
- No-shows Will incur a full charge with no refunds issued.
Weather-related Cancellations If flights are canceled due to adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen factors beyond our control, no charge will be applied. Passengers can opt for rescheduling or receive a full refund if the flight cannot be rescheduled.
4. Weight Restrictions
To ensure safety, each passenger must comply with the weight restrictions
- Maximum weight per passenger per seat 115 kg.
- Maximum allowable weight 140 kg. Passengers exceeding this limit will not be permitted to fly.
- Passengers must provide accurate weight information during booking. Any discrepancies detected at the time of travel will lead to flight cancellation without a refund.
- For passengers approaching the weight limit, we offer the option of purchasing an additional seat to ensure the safety and balance of the helicopter.
Note: If a passenger’s weight exceeds the aircraft’s capacity, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the flight.
5. Seatbelt and Flight Safety
Passengers must wear seatbelts securely throughout the flight and remain seated at all times. Any disruption to the flight caused by behavior that compromises safety will result in refusal of service.
6. Children and Pregnant Passengers
- Children Only children over 2 years old can fly, with their own seat required. Children between 2 and 12 years must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Pregnant Passengers If you are 7 months or more pregnant, you must provide a doctor’s certificate confirming you are fit to fly.
7. Special Needs Passengers
We welcome people of determination to fly if accompanied by an assistant who can assist with boarding and disembarking. Our staff is unable to assist with personal mobility.
8. Alcohol, Drugs, and Safety
We collect personal information that you provide to us when booking a flight, subscribing to newsletters, or contacting our support team. This may include:
- Personal Identification Information: Name, email address, phone number, and billing address.
- Flight Information: Flight booking details such as date, time, passenger count, and preferences.
- Payment Information: Credit card details or other payment method information.
9. Prohibited Items
Passengers found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or appear intoxicated, will be denied boarding. There will be no refund in such cases. All passengers must comply with UAE GCAA safety regulations regarding alcohol consumption during the flight.
10. Force Majeure
The following items are strictly prohibited on board
- Weapons, ammunition, illegal drugs, explosives, flammable substances, or hazardous materials
- Lithium batteries, propane, and other dangerous materials
Note: Passengers are prohibited from carrying items that may jeopardize safety during the flight.
11. Chargeback Claims
Dubai Helicopter Ride is not liable for any flight delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather conditions, technical issues, or any other unforeseen event.
12. Dress Code
By booking a flight, the passenger agrees that a valid passenger manifest, which includes the passenger’s passport details, serves as proof that the service was rendered. Any chargeback claims will be invalidated by this document.
13. Passenger and Baggage Safety
For safety and comfort, passengers are advised to wear appropriate clothing
- Loose garments, scarves, or accessories that may fly in the rotor winds are discouraged.
- Flat footwear is recommended for stability during boarding and disembarking.
Dubai Helicopter Ride reserves the right to refuse boarding if dress code policies are not followed.
14. Availability and Scheduling
Flights are subject to availability, weather conditions, air traffic control regulations, and unforeseen factors. We recommend confirming flight availability before making travel plans.
15. Peak Season and Special Event Rates
Rates may change during peak seasons, public holidays, or special events. We advise passengers to confirm rates before booking, as quoted prices may not apply during high-demand periods.
16. Flight Duration and Route
The flight route and duration are subject to change based on air traffic control regulations and other factors beyond our control. Passengers will be informed of any changes prior to departure.
17. Right of Refusal
We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger whose behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive to others. Passengers must comply with the crew’s instructions to ensure the safety and comfort of all involved.
18. Photography and Video Policy
Casual photography and video are permitted, but professional equipment (e.g., iPads, selfie sticks, or cameras with lenses greater than 400mm) are prohibited unless prior approval is obtained from the relevant Dubai authorities. Dubai Helicopter Ride reserves the right to use any photos taken for promotional purposes.
19. Dynamic Pricing
Our prices fluctuate based on demand and other factors. During high-demand periods, surcharges may apply. Special pricing applies during festive dates and holidays.
